UK Students Enjoy Kerala Hospitality
-week visit to Kochi lacked words to bestow praise on the hospitality of Kerala
24 students, aged between 15 to 17, and 4 teachers from Tunbridge Wells Grammar School, Kent, UK on 3-week visit to Kochi lacked words to bestow praise on the hospitality of Kerala and the simple mannered people here. In fact, they enjoyed to the hilt the merciless mosquito bites and warm weather of Kochi. They touched the real life of Malayalees and relished the cuisine, especially masala-dosa and tender coconut. On November 1, the Kerala day, they were all in traditional Kerala attire and par-took a sadhya (sumptuous varied variety meal) on plantain leaf as is the system here.
