Trip was Fabulous, Love the atmosphere and people at the Marari, as well as the great aeurvedic massages. Also think the Old Harbour in Kochi is very special, and we were pleasantly surprised they remembered us from visiting 2 years earlier. Would certainly return to both for a 3rd time...

Coffee (with brandy and chocolate ice cream in), drank late at night in the still warm garden, under the stars at the Old Harbour, live music playing the other side of the pool and lights in the trees - magical!

Mountain Club : Friendly people. Hotel still in development. Nice food, but would have appreciated a wine list rather than just beer or vodka (catering to Russian tourists?). Amazing views across the mountains from the infinity pool.

Excellent Service, Frequent updates from Thejal when making our booking and agreeing costs. Great of him to arrange our local trains and flights to/from Mumbai also. We would use your service again! (although sadly no ambassador cars this time...)

Loved the treatments at Marari!! We each had 6 during our 5 night stay.
Food was generally delicious, but sometimes not enough vegetarian options. People occasionally seemed surprised I didn't want any no-veg food. Lovely fresh juices in the morning, and overall the food was really nice.

We stayed at 3 other hotels - Old Harbour, Fort Kochi - fab! So sympathetically transformed into a hotel, great staff, brilliant location and very relaxing place to unwind. Appreciated the rooftop yoga sessions before breakfast. Marari beach resort - love this place!! See earlier comments. Shame the sea was too rough to swim, but the pool and spa were relaxing enough. Great to celebrate Diwali there with fireworks and sparkers! Even made it to yoga a couple of times here too... Travancore - ok hotel, but nothing special compared to our other hotels in Kerala. Room basic but ok, pool nice, but we couldn't swim in the sea and it seemed more touristy (other europeans) than some hotels in Kerala. Thanks very much for arranging everything for us!!
