  • Lettuce ( cheera) 1 bunch
  • Green chillies sliced -3 Nos
  • Grated Coconut 2 spoon
  • Turmeric power – 1 tea spoon
  • salt – to taste
  • Mustard -1 spoon
  • curry leaves – 1 bunch


  1. Cut lettuce into small pieces , add sliced onion, green chilles , turmeric poweder and salt,  mix well and keep aside.

  2. Heat a frying pan , put some oil and add mustard seed and when these splatter ,  add the lettuce and stir well.

  3. Keep in a slow fire for 5 mts, stir occassionally and when it is done, add grated coconut and curry leaves.

  4. Mix well and serve hot with rice.
