Kaya Upperi (Plantain Chips)


  • Raw Plantains - 2 large
  • Salt - 1tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp


  1. Peel the plantains and cut into thin round slices.

  2. Heat oil in a deep thick bottom pan

  3. Fry bananas in the oil till golden brown and crisp. Sprinkle turmeric powder and salt into it.

  4. Remove from the oil and pat dry.
