Chandravathy's Lemon Pickle


  • Lemon- 1 Kg
  • Garlic-250 gm
  • Ginger-200 gm
  • Mustard-100 gm
  • Uluva Powder-3 tsp
  • Pickle powder-1 packet
  • Chilly power-250 gm
  • Turmeric Powder-3 tsp
  • Salt- to taste
  • Asafetida- to taste
  • Curry leaves - 1 bunch
  • Oil - 2 table spoon


  1. Cook Lemon sparingly.

  2. Cut in to 4 pieces when cool and add salt.

  3. heat oil in a pan, put mustard seeds, garlic, ginger stir  till brown, then add chilly powder, Turmeric powder, Pickle powder, mix well add vinegar and keep a side.

  4. Add Asafetida powder and put lemon slices mix well.
