Ananda Vally's Mambazha Pulissery


  • Ripe mangoes - 4
  • Green chilly - 3 no.
  • Small onion - 3 no.
  • Scraped & grinded Coconut - 1 small cup
  • Cumin seeds - a pinch
  • Curd - 3 teaspoons
  • Salt – To taste
  • Mustard – a pinch
  • Curry leaves – few
  • Dried Red Chilly - 2 no.
  • Oil - 3 table spoon
  • Turmeric Powder


  1. Boil pealed skin of ripe mangoes with turmeric power, green chilly and salt in water. And cook well.

  2. Grind coconut, small onion & cumin seeds into a paste.

  3. When the mangos are soft, add the coconut past into it.

  4. Add the curd and stir well.

  5. Take a frying pan and heat two teaspoons of oil.  Fry mustard, Dried Red Chilly & curry leaves in it for 3 seconds.

  6. Add the fried mustard, Dried Red Chilly & curry leaves with the oil in to the mango curry and your Mambazha Pulissery is ready.
